Step by step for PhD students
- Check for the appropriate courses under Calendar and Courses. These lists will contain all the accredited courses as they become available.
- If you consider to apply for a scholarship, carefully check the criteria (Rules for Application and attribution of Scholarships) and fill out the Application Form (AF) (pdf|doc) together with your PhD advisor. Also read carefully the specific examination format of the course.
- Submit the AF (application form) for the scholarship at the latest 1 month before the start of the course by using the links provided in the AF.
- Register for the course with the course provider using the included registration form and/or links. Check the travel and accommodation arrangements that are provided in each course announcement.
- Notification about the decision for scholarship will be sent to the student at the latest 2 weeks before the start of the course.
- After completion of the course, after the evaluation of the course using the provided form and after taking the exam, fill in and submit the Scholarship Payment Form (SPF) (pdf|doc) and have it certified by the PhD advisor (at the latest 2 months after the end of the course). The payment will be carried out within 2 weeks after receipt (and upon acceptance) of the SPF (pdf|doc).
- Short reflections by students regarding their experience with followed courses, will be posted on the Website (see Courses, Reflections).

We are approaching the 100th EURO-DOTS scholarship application! We invite you to register as soon as possible for one of the numerous announced EURO-DOTS labeled courses. A premium of 1,000Euro (complementary to the 1,000 scholarship fee) will be offered to the lucky applicant hitting the number 100!
